Interestingly, the Belbek jet is sometimes reported as a Mig-31 lost on take-off (not on landing), which would make it the first of this type known to have been lost in the war.
https://www.technology.org/2022/10/02/c ... -on-video/
And while it is reported that the pilot ejected safely, it raises question about the fate of the 2nd crew (same question if the plane is an Su-30 or Su-34).

By the way, wreckages from an Su-34 were found around Lyman. Date of the crash is unknown and while it is reported as a new loss on Oryxspionkop, it is difficult to be 100 % sure that it is not the remains of an aircraft already reported before as shot down.

It is not a manned aircraft and other drones are not really reported here either, but... it is a rather interesting one. The Ukrainians managed to hack an Iranian combat drone and land it! No idea if this was a lucky attempt, or if this can be repeated.

Speculations of the a course of the accident with a lot of possibilities.

And I promise you that the air reconnaissance are very busy after the accident in the area.

If you take the Nord Stream explosions was a P-8 in the air in the area very soon.

The Russians planned something big. It didn't go well. A flight of four Ka-52 were shot down within 18 minutes. Ouch.

Well, of course, according to the Ukrainian Air Force, no visual confirmation yet...

Russian tactical nuclear air bases is the most of Su-24, Su-34 and Tu-22M3 bases and they are

Olenogorsk
Soltsy
Kaliningrad area?
Shaykovka
Voronezh
Buturlinovka
Mozorovka
Shagol?
Angarsk
Komsomoslsk Khansk

https://thebulletin.org/premium/2020-03 ... rces-2020/
According this source have Russia around 300 tactical nuces on this bases.
But Kristenson also shows that many of the nuclear bases are in a vey bad shape.
And a question is if not the Su-30SM also are nuclear bases.

And the Su-24, Su-34, and Tu-22M3 have not many conventional miaailwa left.

From BBC News; A military aircraft has crashed in a residential area of the southern Russian town of Yeysk, killing at least three people and injuring several more.

An apartment block was set on fire and emergency services were called to the scene.

Russia's Defence Ministry said the plane, a Su-34 fighter bomber, was on a training flight when one of its engines caught fire.

The pilots in the aircraft ejected before the crash, the ministry said."

A squadron of Su-34 and a squadron of Su-25 flying from a base south of Yesk which is Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Before the war was two squadrons with Su-25, around 30 aircraft flying from Primorsko-Akhtarsk..

Yeysk air base is used as a naval air training base, with naval aircraft and a training platform as aircraft carrier.

More aircraft than usual are flying from Lipetsk air base. They use one more tarmac for reloading and refueling.

They maybee have a better maintenance?
