Re: march airbase
Hi
They are SD AND F16s, they are located in the north west corner, usually about 4 of them. They are visible fro around the museum, but heat haze can be a real problem, best to go towards the end of the day

13 Sept
Amazon Prime Air
N241AZ Boeing 767-323ER (BDSF) WL operating as ATI 4371 ex-American Airlines N391AA
N5253A Boeing 737-84P (BCF) WL operating as GIANT 3645 ex-B5153
With the sun in the east, to get the sun somewhat at my back I parked on Heacock south of Nandina for landing aircraft (this was maybe too close for an 80-200mm lens, but this was my 1st time here when I wasn't at an airshow). In the afternoon, for landing planes, I'd try Patterson, north of Harley Knox. More spotting info at: https://scramble.nl/planning/airfield-g ... march-jarb
I was only looking for flying Amazon planes, so I only took a cursory peek at the ramp. I did see 2 Omega tankers, 1xDC-10,1x707; ~7xC-17, ~6xKC135. I did NOT see any F-16s, but I could've missed them. Usually I see the alert jets under the shade structures on the north side, I did look under there, they were empty this morning.
