Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed
Oryx or others does not have track of lost aircraft in Russia.
Many aircraft are lost or hit on Russian ground. You also have attrition of spend off aircraft returned to base.
May be aircraft (and helicopters) are write off after landning on homebase or need heavy repair.

Anyway, I am not an analist, but for sure the number of detroyed aircraft is higher than the 40 aircraft and 49 helicopters listed at this moment by Oryx.
Another tidbit is that for a few months now, the Russians have hardly made any sorties into Ukrainian controlled air space. I doubt that is due to them thinking air support is not needed...
There have been some pictures of Su-25s returning to base with excessive damage. It is known that Chornobaivka has been hit more than anyone can count anymore. Only from one of the first hits some pictures have emerged of destroyed helicopters (and these are listed by Oryx), other than that, no info. It would be very unlikely there aren't more destroyed since. The same with the airfield near Melitopol.hammarö wrote: ↑10 Aug 2022, 12:52 Oryx or others does not have track of lost aircraft in Russia.

The results of the attack with the ‘secret weapon’… for what it’s worth, but it’s from a Bellingcat-guy, so possible reliable…

Note that Chernobaivka housed a very large number of non-airworthy Ukrainian helicopters which were most likely damaged or destroyed beside the Russian ones. Same for Melitopol.ehusmann wrote: ↑10 Aug 2022, 14:40 There have been some pictures of Su-25s returning to base with excessive damage. Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed
It seems Oryxspioenkop can add at least nine more aircraft to the list, 6 Su-24 and 3 Su-30 destroyed at Saki.
And rumors say there might be more losses, but no proof of that (yet?)

Claims of 2 destroyed Russian Ka-52, first on the 13th, second the 14th of Aug. Seems the Ka52 is getting decimated.
Other: Oryx added a Russian Su-25, apparently destroyed in July.

One base have 24 Su-25.
Is it Melitopol? Only guess.
The Su-25 base is defended by new S-350.
Akhtarsk have 12 Su-25 as Budenovsk.
So it must be in forward defence.
Oktyabrskoye have 12 Su-25 (naval).
Dzhankojs helicopters forward based. Used by Su-25?

Re: ALLIED RESOLVE 2022 + what followed
Today reports of 12 Su-25 at Taganrog air base.
These maybee the assets I placed at Melitopol with S-350 surface to air missiles.

Taganrog central:
Also, the planes numbers caught on camera show that a mixed group of the Eastern Military District operates from this air base. Most likely it’s the 18th assault aviation regiment (18 ShAP) (Chernogovka) and the 120th separate mixed aviation regiment (120 SAP) (Chita Domna) of the russian federation with 12 Su-25. The units have before been based in Luninets, Byelorussia in this war. The 18 ShAP have red call signs (red 51, 12, ) and 120 SAP have yellow call signs (yellow 08). They are marked with a large V. On Domna are still 12 Su-25, with circa 30 Su-25/Su-25UB before the war.

Su-30SM RF-81771 somewhere on the ground in Ukraine. No info on where the picture was taken, or when it got pancaked.

Su-25SM3 08 red RF-93026 2021 VKS cam A 54 red
Or
Su-25SM 56 red RF-95126 2021 Chernigovka VKS cam
I spend my money on Su-25 56 red RF-95126.
The Chernigovka Su-25 are still going strong? Flying from Millerovo air base?
