Factory reset?
To perform the reset
1. Make sure the radio is powered on
2. Use a small object to press and hold the micro switch located beneath the small opening on the side
panel
3. The radio will reset and then go to VFO mode

Re: Problem with scanner
Did you checked the "lock" switch? must be downwards
and other way is to reset. put a small pointy object in the little hole (under the lock switch, above the letters reset)
the fact it went all clear, could indicate your internal memory battery is empty, will be a good idea to replace it. or all clear could happen more often and sometimes when you switch batteries it will clear to.
If this not work, could be you have a lose connection, you can try to put some little pressure on the display and soundbox

Re: Problem with scanner
Hi Jos,
I think the only thing left is to switch the internal memory battery.
Is this something i can do self or not.
Took a long time this awnser, but comes due to my work as a trucker.
My holliday starts now so now i got the time for it.
