I made a quick trip to Brussels in the afternoon. As it turned out runway 25L was closed from 13:00 CET onwards due to maintenance so there was no racing back and forth between 25R and 25L
I still don't know if I like the new Brussels Airlines colors or not.
Virgin was doing a freight flight
A nice surprise was this Lufthansa A350 which diverted to Brussels en route from Mexico to Munich.
Less than a hour later it departed again from that same runway 25R.
Whilst taking a pic of the departing Lufthansa A350 I noticed this former Brussels Airlines BAe146 OO-DJE now serving as a fire brigade trainer.
An unknown B737 sitting in the background. It seemed to have an Irish registration.

Unknown 737 in the background? I only see a DHL (what seems to be a 767) and an A330(-300).... but hey.... I don't do civil!

Yes you’re right. Not sure why I wrote B737.
