Freshly out from its paint job at Aviation Cosmetics Malta. Its military serial will be T.24-02 as clearly seen on its tail.
The second of the three Air Force A330s has arrived in Madrid after being painted in Malta.
Iberia's Airbus A330-200 EC-MJT returned on the afternoon of May 5 from Malta,
where it was taken on April 19 to be painted in the colors and emblems of the Air Force.
Now, in the next few days, the work will be completed in Madrid on behalf of Iberia before its formal delivery to the Air Force,
for its integration into the fleet of the 452 Squadron of the 45 Group at the Torrejón air base as T24-02/10274/ 452-02.
This plane, like the first received a little less than five months ago,
will initially be used as a passenger and cargo plane, and will be converted to MRTT after the arrival of the third plane,
which will be converted before delivery in 2023.
