What is also in there is this:
Wittmund/Jeverland/LR
Translation: as from 10 January 2011, operations by JG71 will be concentrated between 09:00 and 11.30 AM and 01:00 and 03:00 PM. Exceptions are QRA flight and when night flying is being practiced.

Stefan

Other news on FF is that most of the training missions will be flown clean (without fueltanks) to limit the flying time to about 45min, only the QRA will continue to fly with 3 fuel tanks.

Does anybody know why?

Less hours being flown by the unit and if you concentrate them in 2 blocks the environment will not be bothered by the noise as much.

One more fact from FF:

By the end of 2011 less than 25 F-4 will be in service.

AFAIK no formal decision has been taken yet and the withdrawal of the F-4 in 2012 has been in the original schedule for quite a while now.

Wittmund Skyhawks

Post by Withnail »

I have a question on the A4's based on Wittmundhafen. What are the former Israeli serials of Scooters N262WL and N268WL? What's the BuNo of N437FS? Did N434FS fly for Israel and if so, what was its serial?

Hope someone can help me of this one.

Thanx

444 A-4N as N262WL BuNo 159545 (camo c/s)

Thank you. Is N268WL 344 or not? And if not, which one is it then?
