A-10 movement to Lakenheath how many ?
Does anyone know how many A-10's will be moving to Lakenheath this Thursday.
We are having plans to pay a visit to Spangdahlem this Thursday to see some A-10's.
Thank you.
Robert

On the internet I see rumours of 4 and also 10...(source: FighterControl)
Wondering what the real number will be!

Any idea how long they will stay at Lakenheath and if and when they will come back to Spangdahlem?
Re: A-10 movement to Lakenheath how many ?
Got a message from someone who said that 8 A-10's will deploy to Lakenheath.
Would be nice to know what the real number will be.

If 12 deployed to ETAD then 6 would be a good number. If they redeploy on Thursday then the number of aircraft involved will be known.

That's still speculation...raameagle wrote:If 12 deployed to ETAD then 6 would be a good number.
At least that's true...raameagle wrote:If they redeploy on Thursday then the number of aircraft involved will be known.

I suppose in the olden days one would just have to go and take a look. Now you can spot from home, wonderful ![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

Indeed Starman. I think a lot of people have forgotten about the good old days of no advance information and waiting for hours outside a base to see what turned up.
That said however, I hear it's a four ship that will play from the heath...

In the old days, 'Twix' was still called 'Raider'......
But back to topic, as the rumours are various, just wait and see?

Re: A-10 movement to Lakenheath how many ?
Just read at http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/v ... 9&t=111248 that the A-10's will be arriving at Lakenheath on Friday, so I guess they won't leave Spang on Thursday.
Message says: "Sorry There are 4 due in on Friday 13th at 1000L and due out On Friday 20th at 1400L Please disregard the last post there are none due in Thursday".
Greetings Robert.

If the post above yours is correct, I'd say the difference between arrival (March 13th) and departure (March 20th) dates is pretty much one week. Unless ofcourse we're talking different years here!Flyingdutchman wrote:A lot is said about how many A-10's will deploy. My question is for which period are the going to deploy, 1 week?
