It seems that 9/12 A-10 are now in Spangdahlem, the other 3 would have to be in Campia Turzii, Romania.
How do you count 9!? Guess those 3 you mentioned above were part of the Fly By at Luxembourg!

Here you can read that 6 A-10 have landed on 22th: http://www.flugzeugforum.de/threads/799 ... ost2154304Tigerspoon wrote:How do you count 9!? Guess those 3 you mentioned above were part of the Fly By at Luxembourg!
The 3 A-10 today flew above the Netherlands to Spangdahlem and I could not see them taking off, so they came from Estonia/Slovakia. I thaugt the only Flyby at Luxemburg was yesterday with 2 F-16 from 480th FS?
Re: ETAD 24-05-2015
Good night guys,
Good news to hear the A-10s are back were they belong !!
Do you know if flights are supposed to take place at Spangdahlem tomorrow (monday) ?
In Belgium and France, for example this monday is a national holidays. But what about flyings in Spang ?
I'd like to have a look there if chance of some fighters activity is confirmed, but coming from Brussels, I have to think twice.

Why would the A-10's fly from Slovakia to Spang over Holland? Or did they participate in the Fly over at Margraten. I believe the Dutch F-16's also flew rather late in the afternoon.

Today here in Germany is a holiday called "Pfingstmontag (Whit Monday)". But I will post it if I hear/see some movements.FredL wrote:Do you know if flights are supposed to take place at Spangdahlem tomorrow (monday) ?

Re: ETAD 24-05-2015
Looking at SBS they took of SP around 14.45 local for a mission over Belgium to the south of the UK, lowest plot was at 4700ft overhead Jersey. They then returned back to SP for landing around 17.15.
Perhaps a testflight, or flyby somewhere in France/ Channal Islands?
SBS also shows 81-0992 landing at SP on the 22nd, so they did not depart Slovakia as far as i can see.

Thanks a lot.
I arrived on the east of Belgium.
Not far from German borderline, but weather is not nice at all anyway here. Low clouds and showers.

Dutch F-16s did fly-over at Margraten, no A-10s.Arjan wrote:Why would the A-10's fly from Slovakia to Spang over Holland? Or did they participate in the Fly over at Margraten. I believe the Dutch F-16's also flew rather late in the afternoon.
In the afternoon A-10 (81-0966) was logged on mode-s as 'HAWG01'.
