EHVK 19-09-2016 MIL
Exercise Decisive North will take place this week at Volkel and Kleine Brogel. For this exercise three ItalianAF Tornado's are expected to arrive today in the morning supported by an ItalianAF C-130. Other participants will be known in due time.
Re: EHVK 19-09-2016 MIL
Last year Steadfast Noon was held in the same week as Decisive North at Büchel, so probably we can expect the same participants as always to play with B61's.
Only we will have to wait and see which aircraft go to KB and which to Volkel

Which makes Tornadoes more likely than EF2000s.... Or have these taken over the nuclear role in Italy?roberto wrote:Last year Steadfast Noon was held in the same week as Decisive North at Büchel, so probably we can expect the same participants as always to play with B61's.

I think that the €fighter is unable to carry B61s. At least in Germany they are officially declared "Nicht-nuklearfähiges Luftfahrzeug" (non-nuclear-capable aircraft).

The air to ground envelope of the Typhoon/EF2000 remains restricted-and will remain so into the next decade, so Tornados are highly likely to be involved.Bennie wrote:Which makes Tornadoes more likely than EF2000s.... Divide the remaining distance (in Nautical Miles) by 300 and you'll have a nice estimate if you add this number (x60) to the current time.. Can't find her myself on Virtual Radar.Tony wrote:Anyone for an ETA?
