Friday 6 May:
Just 5 weeks after opening, KLM Cityhopper has raised seat capacity on the new route AMS-AAL-AMS from Fokker 70 to Fokker 100 on some flights:
- arr. 07:50 Aalborg KL 1332 KLM Fokker 100 PH-OFM
- arr. 15:40 Aalborg KL 1336 KLM Fokker 70 PH-KZE
KLC uses flexible capacity so Fokker 70 & 100s are interchanged whenever needed. Last Wednesday a Fokker 100 operated KL1336.
Capacity F70 vs. F100

Re: EHAM 06-05-2011
Seat cap is not raised as FK100's operate with 80 saleable seats.. When FK100's operate they operate as FK70, so CRS's are not changed and show FK70.XYZ wrote:Friday 6 May:

Re: EHAM 06-05-2011
Not true; in some cases Fokker 100 ARE replacing the 70 for commercial reasons (= when there are more than 80 seats sold, or because of high NEO loads)...when this happens, CODECO and FIRDA will be updated accordingly...tonjochems wrote:Seat cap is not raised as FK100's operate with 80 saleable seats.. KL1332 was changed to the 100 due to 70 'shortages' when the nightstopping 1337 was due to depart...(so was not commercial)

Re: EHAM 06-05-2011
Indeed Codeco/FIRDA are updated but only 1 day in advance, and still not loaded in CRS as FK100. So saleable cap remains 80... so an overbooked FK70 flt can in such a case leave without denied boarded pax.MAS017 wrote:Not true; in some cases Fokker 100 ARE replacing the 70 for commercial reasons (= when there are more than 80 seats sold, or because of high NEO loads)...when this happens, CODECO and FIRDA will be updated accordingly...

So, how do you explain KL1799/1800-31may11
It's shown as 100 (and not F70) in Altea
