Spent two hours in the approach on the southside of the base (40°13'49.4"N 18°08'42.7"E) during holidays in Puglia. A lot of activity from the local trainers here. The above was logged approaching for landings and tg's. Considering all the activity I would say that another two hours here would have resulted in double this amount.

none, I found an unpaved road that was surrounded by high corn that made me not visible from base and most locals. It's possible to get closer but you might attract more attention.
