Marseille-Provence (LFML/MRS) - 2010 MIL

Post by Hans »

The following helicopters were noted with Eurocopter at 21 April 2010.
Registrations in italic (in the right column) were still taped over with red tape.

Exact types mostly need to be determined; where it just says "AS350" it well may be an AS355, same for AS365 versus EC155 and EC225 versus AS332, AS532 etc.

The civil choppers are posted here.
As usual, an underscore means "looked up". All mentioned c/n's were actually read of.
786402	AS550C3	Pakistan Army 4406
786403	AS550C3	Pakistan Army 4410
786404	AS550C3	Pakistan Army 4431
786405	AS550C3	Pakistan Army 4436
786407	AS550C3	Pakistan Army 4459
786408	AS550C3	Pakistan Army

726	AS332	Saudi AF
?	AS565	Saudi Navy	RSNF-5001	6882

F-ZKCU	AS565MB	Armada de Mexico	AMHP-153

F-WWOT	EC225	Gendarmerie Royale Marocaine CN-BZG

2752	EC225	Aeronavale
2282/CGG	AS532UL	ALAT
F-ZWBK	AS532UL	ALAT	CGX

F-WMXG	AS332L1	Bundespolizei	D-HEGO

F-ZKBC	AS532UL	FAMET	ET-669
F-ZKBB	Tigre	FAMET	ET-704

F-ZKBI	Tigre	no other markings

F-ZWTF	NH-90	NHI
F-ZWTG	NH-90	NHI (Swedish marks)
The Pakistani are parked against the fence, without rotors, probably awaiting the outcome of the discussion on the performance before they are delivered. But for now they are an easy catch!

One addition; already in the civil log, was AS350 F-WWPP/EW-310.H. Most likely this is (will be) the EW-310BH, an AS355NP for the Belarus Borderguards, like EW-308BH and EW- 309BH before.

Hi Eric,

we didn`t see any of the Pakistanis. But we didn`t stay long at MRS and were only on the hill and on the other side of the runways, so maybe we didn`t recognize them. There were several AS350 parked, but because of the heat waves we couldn`t read them.
I also hope they are still present, as I fly to MRS on saturday, again!

This morning two Iraqi Air Force were loaded in Aviacon Zitotrans IL76 RA-76846.
Serials were YI-299 and YI-300.
This afternoon a second IL76 was seen parked near the first one, Maximus' UR-BXQ.
No idea if it is here for the same purpose.

Seen at Eurocopter during a short visit on the hill:

623 NH-90 Saudi AF ?
624 NH-90 Saudi AF ? (F-ZWTW)
126 EC-725 UAE Navy (F-ZKCG)
F-ZKBF Tigre
505 AS-565 FN (F-ZKCK)

Are the 623 and 624 not the one for Oman?

Probably, because 623 and 624 are F-15's in the Saudi Air Force.
Maybe I can have a closer look next time.

I saw last year the 620, 621 and 622 as Oman A.f. so I think this are the next ones.

I can confirm NH-90s 623 and 624 were Oman AF. They were seen by our group outside Eurocopter on 7th June, 2010.

Hi Hans

Tigre F-ZKBA is 2035
PN-120 is an AS.350B3
Are you sure about HT.27-68 for ET-669? I read ET-671 as HL.27-04 from close distance.

Hi, Thank you for the additions.
I am not sure for the ET-669, because of the long distance and diffecult angle.
HL.27-02 instead of HL.27-62 is of course possible !!!!
