Reims 07.03.2011 Adieu Mirage F1

Post by bvdboomen »

On monday march the 7th, we wend to Reims to get a last glimp of the Mirage F1. Here's a photo impression of that day.

1. Warming-up with some Pumas.
Image

2. Another set of nice visitors; no less than 6 RAF Apache Longbows!
Image

3. Then the real actors came up.
Image

4. And a show they gave.
Image

5. They even stopped in front of us à la NTM.
Image

6. The weather was cold, windy but sunny all day.
Image

7. Another typical Reims background.
Image

8. Face front.
Image

9. The last wheely of the day. Adieu Mirage F un.

Sorry, changed it. Thanks for mention it.
Thanks for the compliments.
Nice additions DJMikey, hope to see more from the Dutch Enclave, the Belgium, German and France.

Hi Ben,

indeed it was a nice day :) . The pics rock. Too bad these beauties will leave Reims and Reims will be closed :( .

@Arjan:

Be quick. According to a french guy the F1B will stop flying early May and the F1CR and CT in June. Expect only 6 to 8 planes making different sorties. We had 15 sorties this day made with eight different planes that monday (7 march). We arrived around 09.30 hour and left at 17.00 hour.

Grtz,

Edward.
