I wonder if it is wise for the US Government to deliver these modern fighters to Iraq? Knowing the region is like a warzone. Probably within the next ten years these planes fall in the hand of the "enemy". Or better said Taliban / Al Quida .

For pictures on the parallel runway not good due to the height of the grass this time of the year. But for landing shots perfect when 24 in in use :) . Normally the grass wil be cut somewere in september. So maybe better chances for runway shots in the last few weeks. Don't expect to much F-16 movem...

Bovenstaande info is niet juist. FWIT is afgelopen maandag al begonnen. Er staan nu 2x PAF, 3x BAF, 1x RDAF F-16 en 2 Volkel en 1 Lwd F-16's. Daar komen nog bij 2x BAF, 1x RDAF en 1 Lwd F-16. Daar heb je gelijk. Er zijn zes extra Chinook F-modellen aan het DHC toegevoegd. En de komende jaren volgen nog een aantal NH90's ter vervanging van de nu nog operationele Cougars.
