Re: Tag der Bundeswehr, Nordholz, 15 june 2019
Whilst being bussed out to the north via the main gate (a different route to the bus in), we passed 3 sheds - the ones at N53.775613, E8.65484. Inside one was a large grey helicopter with some dayglo. Only got a quick look as we were already passing it when we noticed. Did anyone get a better look? ...

Should have read:-
"To shoot down my own guesswork, it seems that 10-SS went to Cambrai" (Not Creil).
Thanks Andy!

To shoot down my own guesswork, it seems that 10-SS went to Creil for the firemen.

Creil - Super Mystere B.2
Delving through old logs in the Winter. At the Portes Ouvertes at Creil in 5.78 I noted a burnt Super Mystere B.2 on the dump (not to be confused with the Mirage IIIC also present). A possibility for this aircraft is SMB2 93/10-SS which was w/o at Creil 15.1.69 in a belly landing. Post crash photos ...

Re: Carson Helicopters grave yard - Perkasie Heliport PA
Revisiting this old thread, I'm still bugged by the unidentified SH-3, the first in the list: >1_98__ SH-3 either USN or USMC, white colours, defied identifying Firstly, I'm not convinced that "1_98__" is correct (on photos you can see some over-painting, so some room for interpretation). ...

Re: Wrecks & Relics in Serbia
Though I notice it was of course a Jastreb at Vranjska Banja, not a Galeb.

Re: Wrecks & Relics in Serbia
I don't see a road 158 out of Vranje, though I can see a 258. If Ron has co-ords, that would be a big help. I wonder if this Galeb may possibly have come from nearby Vranjska Banja where an unidentified Galeb disappeared from Google Earth imagery between 10.5.13 and 7.5.16. This a/c was located at N...

In 6.92 the storage lines held 86 MiG-21s and 51 L-39s. Elsewhere were another 12 scrapped MiG-21s, 3 L-29s, a MiG-15, a MiG-17 and the fuselage of the VEB-152 airliner prototype. A hangar held Zlin Z-43 25/D-EKMO.

Marco,
Thanks for that. Second Norwegian F-16 was 675, not 657. The Hunter (SE-DXM) is painted as 34033, not 34833.

Re: Buccaneer c/n question
Erwin, Sadly I do not have a complete and definitive list of Buccaneer fuselage numbers, but I can at least clarify that there issues with most/all published lists. Both the Scramble list and the British Aviation-ptp list that you quote are effectively based on the premise that the fuselage numbers ...

Noted in the rear of the right hand side of Hangar II (the PC-7s) on the Friday was a Safir. Any offers for the identity? Likely one of 3F-SP or 3F-SR.

UH-1Ds in Germany
Noted in southern Germany last week were two preserved UH-1Ds. Neither was identified, further information most welcome. One was located in a kaserne in Munchen (between Oberschleissheim and central Munchen) at 48.208645° 11.585417°. The second was located at Mengen - 48.044725° 9.370332°. Cheers, M
