Re: Farewell MFG-5 event
See my site, look under airshows in 2008 and 2010. I will be there for sure. Very scenic backdrop in the shape of sailing ships. Thanks Hans. Your reports do look good for sure, very unique background indeed. Judging by the EXIF information, most of your pics are made late afternoon. Is that becaus...

Re: Farewell MFG-5 event
Interesting (static) line up! How are the photographic conditions? Is someone familiar with the situation at Kiel? I've never been there before. Someone who visited one of the past SAR-meetings? I've seen some pictures on the internet from previous meetings and it looks like static helo's are normal...

Wittmundhafen (ETNT) 07-02-2012 Phantoms in the snow
Hi all, Last tuesday I went to Wittmund with a goal: photograph some dinosaurs in the snow. Dressed like an inuit I arrived in northern Germany at around 08.00 in the morning. Temperature was -17C, but it felt like -40C.... To my rising concern it stayed very quiet in the morning. Busy traffic with ...

Re: my 2011 photo season, air-to-air
This is really the cherry on top of the Cristmas cake! Excellent work. Haven't seen a better report for a long time.
I can stare at some of the pictures for over a minute and they still don't get boring
That's quality!
I'm looking forward to see the results of the 2012 season!

Re: EHDL (Deelen) 07/10/2011 departure DHC
I didn't realize you could get this close to the operations area in Deelen. I saw some descriptions of it in another topic, but this surprises me nevertheless! Nice! 8) Stephan the south east side is accesible by foot (about 20 minutes walk from the parking place next to the main entrance) walk unt...
