Salisbury Plain Training Area (SPTA) - how to get there map
Hi y'all! Last years I visited the SPTA several times. For me, as an helicopter enthusiast, it is like heaven! Some time ago Iwan asked me for some more information about how to get there. As more people may want to visit this area, I thought I could share this information. It really is a B-E-A-utif...

Re: SINGAPORE DEC 2012
A little voice of frustration from me: why are so many people STILL not using the mandatory CIV and/or MIL extensions in their topicnames here? I keep finding myself sifting through large civil topics to see if there's any military material there, only to find there is none. Thanks for next time! :...

The final Dutch Navy Lynx -from a unique point of view...
A few months ago, on September the 7th, I had the great opportunity to make a photoshoot of the very last Dutch Lynx demonstration during the World Port Days of Rotterdam from a unique location. From the 26th floor of 'De Rotterdam' (see: http://www.derotterdam.nl ) I had a unique viewing point duri...

Some nice shots. Went to Fritzlar in the summer as well. Idid encounter some difficulties with the guards though. After talking twice with MP and once with the polizei, an MP was placed in front of us, where he spent an hour or 2 in the burning sun. Bit strange  Did you have any problems at th...

Re: Three days in the UK: HMS Ocean, Benson and Brize Norton
Thanks for all the coments guys! Nice pictures in 'the English summer'. Where were nr's 9, 10 and 11 taken? Didn't know that spot? Took the shots at the 'Burford Road', a deadend street. Spot is indicated as 'H' over here: http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/spotting/brize-norton.php Don't forge...
