“Heavy Metal Jet Team” changed its name to “Black Diamonds Jet Team” and will add one more MiG-17 flying as opposing solo. Early this year they added another MiG-17 to their flight program as a lead solo.

Reno crash telemetry data. Here are some telemetry data from the P-51 “Galloping Ghost” which crashed at Reno. Airspeed around pylon 7 - 495 mph. Russian Knights and Swifts aerobatic teams to be disbanded
The Russian Air Force aerobatic display teams Russian Knights and Swifts (Strizhi) will be disbanded after MAKS 2011 Airshow. The teams will fly for the last time during MAKS Air Show from August 16 to 21.
