Re: Waddington (EGXW) - 2009 MIL
24/9 ZZ418 delivered 1635L today. Light was a bit iffy when she arrived, not ideal for photography unfortunately. Believe it's been hangared for the night as at 1830 it wasn't where we saw it park up after landing. Also RDAF F-16s E-600, E-603 arrived yesterday & nightstopped & ET-197 arriv...

Pic of ZZ416 in the 'garden shots' thread on the photo forum.
Also G-DOSC (DA.42MPP) has been operating out of Waddington the past couple of days.

Just one from this afternoon - ZZ416 (formerly G-JENC) in the visual circuit for RAF Waddington, straight over the back yard.

Re: Waddington (EGXW) - 2009 MIL
E-2C 2 had a problem Friday and has been replaced this morning by E-2C 1 which arrived as FNY5482 and flew as DAMO11. Not sure if this is a permanent switch for the remainder of the exercise. Pity that 3 wasn't sent..

Re: RAF Waddington French visitors 11 & 12 May 09
Cris, unfortunately not this time! I had to drive to the far side of Waddington (about 9km) to catch these. If I had a view that good from my back yard, I'd be a full-time spotter

ZZ176 makes her debut
At 19:20L this evening the RAF's newest C-17 ZZ176 made her first landing in the UK at RAF Waddington. The flight was returning some of the groundcrew & GSE for the Red Arrows who returned home today from their North America tour. The light wasn't good, but I tried my best ;) http://www.igniter....
