Nigeria - follow-up to Danny de Kievit report (Scramble 376)

Excellent report which I greatly enjoyed. I'd like to focus on the One-Elevens at Benin City, of which 12 are identified in Danny's report; a further six could not be identified because of "dirt, high grass and close parking of aircraft". Earlier reports suggest that 19, not 18, Okada Air ...

Re: Oshkosh 2010 July 26-August 1

As I’ve not seen a report here from Oshkosh, I thought I’d upload my notes from the period 26-28 July. For those who have not visited AirVenture, it is certainly worth the effort. This year’s event attracted some 2,380 show aircraft, and more than 7,500 visiting aircraft on top of that. It has outgr...

Re: Oshkosh 2010 July 26-August 1

Those in the mass arrival will muster on 24 July at Rock Falls, IL, and will be open to the public on 25 July. They will depart Rock Falls at 14:30, arriving at Oshkosh around an hour late...

Pratica di Mare / Giornata Azzurra 25 May 2008

I see from the latest edition of Scramble that the date has been fixed for the Italian Air Force show at Pratica di Mare. It is the final weekend of May and I am hoping to go. I see that those who attended last year and reported for Scramble appear to have gained access to areas not open to the gene...
