Thanks guys for all your replies! Some wonderful pictures in this post and it clearly shows that the worst of the weather can sometimes bring out the best in photography.

Maybe I exaggerate a little now and perhaps you don't agree but it seems to me like these shots alone made your (very wet) trip worthwhile. Fantastic images and surely amongst the best ones of the F-22 I've seen on the internet so far. Well done!

What a shame about the RIAT. All those poor people who put so much time, energy, effort and money into either organizing or attending the greatest show on earth, I feel very sorry for them all. On this occasion however there was nothing to be done and anyone who watched the various photo's and films...

The Atlas Air 747 is a wonderful shot! I suppose you're camera equipment is in the oven at the moment...

Yesterday I had to collect my youngest daughter from Schiphol Airport and I decided to take the camera along to see if there was anything worthwhile.
