Some people of the army told us this was a closed military terain with probably no options to make photo's .......

Guess they where wrong....

Indeed a great museum. Because of the big terrain on which the museum is build, you can better bring your bike of inline skates .

I had pain in my feet after a day waking around at this museum.

I also went to the open day at Fritzlar today.

Someone told us the helicopters flew the display out of a military terrain near the village of Geismar.

Today around 18.00 hr seen flying over Noord-Limburg was an AS.350. This helicopter was flying from the east to the west. The helicopter had a red tail. The front side of the helicopter was white.

Does anyone know which helicopter this was ?

Can anyone confirm that the B-52 wasn't at Florennes on saturday. I was at the show untill about 15.00 hr but at that time the commentator told that they still didn't had contact with the B-52.

I also missed the Hungarian Mi-17 (I guess this one was also not at Florennes ??)

Seen today (in the afternoon) in the area east of Roermond was a A-10 flying to the south. A short time later two A-10's where seen flying (pretty low) to the north.

Any idea what these nice aircraft where doing here ?

Yesterday (sunday) I guess around 17.30 hr two F-16's where seen flying in formation over the Northern part of Limburg, in northern direction.

Does anyone know why these F-16's flew on a sunday ??

I also had a great day yesterday. I went by train and bus and had no trouble at all reaching the event. Photo-oportunities where almost perfect and the weather was very nice.
