"I can only see an F-15 on those pictures "
And what's wrong with that? All that fancy, high tech and overrated so called stealth stuff without the payload you really need... Gimme that graceful Eagle!

Re: Yuma airshow vs El Centro
Hi Dmitri, I visited both airshows last year and although both are nice I think Yuma is the most interesting. More variety in the flying program with F-5's, AV-8, F-35 A and B, V-22, AH-1 and UH-1 and some WW2 planes against the Blue Angles and some demo's from WW2 planes, T-33, F-86 etc. (check htt...

Re: EHVK 16-06-2019
Did the Spanish EF-2000 started up from the static line (RWY24L) or where they towed to the north side of the field before start-up and departue? And are the Greek F-4's still on the static or moved somewhere else on the field?

MCAS Yuma Airshow 2019
On March the 9th I visited Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona for their annual airshow. Just like the years before it was a great event with a small but interesting static and a great airshow with the US Marines showing most of their air assets in a spectacular way. 1. https://i79.photobucket.co...

Re: Seymour Johnson AFB 26-09-2011
Hi Bart, I visited Seymour Johnson shortly in 2016 (https://final-approach.jouwweb.nl/2016/seymour-jonhnson). I positioned myself on the Lewis Dairy road halfway the runway for take off shots (https://www.scramble.nl/airfield-guide/goldsboro-nc-seymour-johnson-afb, position nbr 4.) Unfortunately aft...

Pentagon to buy 12 F-15X fighters
Bloomberg is reporting that the Pentagon will request $1.2 billion for 12 Boeing F-15Xs in the fiscal year 2020 budget. Sources told the business news that the jets will replace aging F-15Cs in service with the Air National Guard. https://about.bgov.com/blog/pentagon-billion-new-boeing-fighters/ Reg...

Eagles, Hornets & Raptors @ RAF Lakenheath
My take on the recent F-22A and F/A-18E/F deployment to RAF Lakenheath earlier this month: http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j144/Dartstaffel713/07_zpsugyrwmse.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j144/Dartstaffel713/10_zpsylhywv0s.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j144/Dartstaffel713/15_zpspb6...

Kingsley Field
Hi,
Anybody ever been to Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base to watch the F-15's from the 173rd FW from outside (approach end)? Curious about the possibilities here.
Thanks in advance!
