The report above that the RAF Tornados are in 617 Sqn marks is incorrect. Of the seven all are unmarked save for code 038 which is in 12 Sqn marks.

The Typhoons are operated by a mix of 1(F) and 6 Sqn crews for the purposes of the exercise.

The RAF C17 went to Cebu, not Manilla.

Great set but the area you visited is called 'Wales', it certainly isn't Western England!

The Tornado F3s are being used for Meteor missiles trials and at present they expect to cease flying in July this year.

You never know what you will see at Boscombe but you certainly get variety. If it is quiet then you can try your luck on Salisbury Plain.

The badges on the intakes confirm their squadron allocation as per Dinger's post.

I forgot - also saw an F-16 blasting out in the evening - not sure if it was an overshoot or departure - anyone know?

Does anyone have the departure times for the 375th AW C-21s from RS on 3rd June - I was there from 12 noon but couldn't read departures due to heat haze.
